Description

Own packaging development and process optimization for industrial products, leading new product development projects and driving continuous improvement.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve procedures to minimize packing line setup, changeover time, and costs.
• Collaborate with operations and suppliers to troubleshoot issues, maintain quality, and optimize line efficiencies.
• Minimize packaging material scrap, product scrap, and product give away.
• Participate in risk assessments and cost improvement initiatives while ensuring equipment meets safety specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in packaging or manufacturing engineering of industrial products and components.
• Detailed knowledge of packaging qualification testing.
• Experience designing packaging using a variety of materials.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Proficiency with CAD NX or Pro-E software.
• Ability to work in compliance with GMP, ISO 3485, and ISTA standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP / HANA ERP systems.
