Description

Design returnable and expendable packaging solutions to optimize material receipt, delivery, and line-side efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish packaging specifications at the part number level for new products and supply chain improvements.
• Design packaging concepts and container layouts using 3D modelling software.
• Develop supplier packaging requirements and audit conformance to specifications.
• Lead initiatives with suppliers and facilities to improve receiving, warehousing, and line-side delivery efficiency.
• Perform cost analysis, develop business cases, and validate new containers during pilot phases.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer or Packaging Analyst.
• Proficiency with Creo or similar electronic drafting and 3D modelling software.
• Bachelor of Science in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of packaging materials and supplier networks.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Inventory Management, or Material Requirements.
• Strong project management knowledge and background in Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Fluent English communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and understanding of warehousing standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 6 Sigma Project teams.
• APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification.
• Experience within the Medical or Electronics industries.
