Description

Operate and maintain packaging machinery in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and set up packaging equipment and facility surfaces in strict compliance with SOPs and batch records.
• Execute Master Batch Records for controlled oral solid dose (OSD) and other dosage forms.
• Perform in-process testing and inspections, including weight checks, tablet thickness, hardness, friability, and visual assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and GMP standards.
• Manage labeling and components through transferring, counting, and FIFO processes, identifying and resolving quality issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent mechanical skill.
• Knowledge of FDA, DEA, and cGMP guidelines.
• Proficiency in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to perform basic to complex mathematical computations.
• Understanding of the Metric System of Measurement.
• Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator).
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver drums weighing up to 275 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with oral solid dose (OSD) pharmaceuticals in Granulation, Compression, Encapsulation, or Coating.
• Experience with packaging serialization.
