You will manage the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PACS and ancillary applications within a medical imaging environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PACS and ancillary applications including Dynacad, OrthoView, Vitrea, and TeraRecon.
• Manage the storage, routing, updating, and archiving of digital images from various sources.
• Install, configure, and administer modality connections within the existing network.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to communicate storage and compute requirements.
• Administer user profiles and manage supplier relationships to maintain technology standards.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience implementing and supporting IBM / Merative Merge.
• Deep knowledge of HL7 and DICOM standards in both theory and practice.
• Experience implementing and supporting 3rd party applications such as CAD, TeraRecon, PowerScribe, ImageShare, and Universal Viewer.
• Proficiency in clinical workflow processes and medical terminology.
• Understanding of PACS integration with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Radiological Information Systems (RIS).
• Working knowledge of VPN and NAT technologies.
• Knowledge of server operating systems, virtual environments, and networks.
• Ability to create database queries using SQL.
• Experience configuring and supporting modalities and PACS workstations.
