Palo Alto Firewall Engineer

You will configure, manage, and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and Panorama for centralized administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security policies, NAT rules, VPNs, and routing configurations.
• Monitor firewall performance, logs, and security alerts to ensure system health.
• Perform regular policy optimization and rule cleanup to reduce technical debt.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve security incidents.
• Support compliance audits and maintain accurate network documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and NAT.
• Experience implementing VPN, SSL, and IPSec configurations.
• Proficiency with App-ID, User-ID, and Threat Prevention features.
• Understanding of URL filtering and IAM (Identity & Access Management) principles.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud security environments.

Preferred Skills

• PCNSE Certification.
• Experience with Cisco ASA/FTD or Fortinet FortiGate.
