Description

You will manage and optimize Palo Alto firewall infrastructure to ensure network security and compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize firewall policies and rules to enhance network security.
• Monitor network traffic and firewall logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Investigate and resolve firewall-related performance and connectivity issues.
• Plan and perform firmware updates, patches, and software upgrades on Palo Alto firewalls.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and network diagrams.

Required Skills

• Expertise in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• PCNSE certification.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with VPN configurations and network protocols.
• Proficiency in security policy management.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving connectivity issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience.
