Palo Alto Firewall Migration Support Engineer

You will support the deployment and migration of Palo Alto firewall environments, ensuring secure and compliant network operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute Palo Alto firewall migrations, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of all Palo Alto products.
• Troubleshoot pre- and post-migration issues using packet capture and protocol analysis.
• Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot security policies for new and existing web applications.
• Analyze firewall policies and configurations to ensure least privilege and business requirement compliance.
• Maintain network and security components, including network monitoring systems and security equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Palo Alto Certified Systems Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
• Proficiency with packet capture and protocol analysis using Wireshark and Splunk.
• Experience with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Static routing.
• Practical knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DMZ design, and VRFs.
• Experience implementing cloud firewalls in Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with IPS, WAF, Load Balancers, and network security tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities regarding IT security issues.
• Experience with business process and change management.
