Description

Manage and secure enterprise network environments using Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and administer Palo Alto NGFWs, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and WildFire.
• Design and implement SSL/TLS decryption strategies for inbound and outbound traffic.
• Manage security policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and high availability configurations.
• Perform rule base optimization, firewall audits, and firmware lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, security issues, and SSL decryption failures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (PA Series) and Panorama.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with SSL/TLS decryption, certificate management, and PKI.
• Proficiency in VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and IPS/IDS.
• Experience with Service Now for ticketing and management.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Palo Alto Certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE) or CCNA/CCNP Security.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and firewall integrations.
• Automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.
