Description

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the design, deployment, and optimization of Palo Alto Networks security solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud network architectures in public (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Manage global device groups and federated security policies as the primary SME for Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager.
• Deploy and manage Cloud NGFW services as native cloud instances, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Transform legacy rules into App-ID and User-ID driven policies to enforce Zero Trust micro-segmentation.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Ansible to streamline firewall management and configuration hygiene.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in network security, with 5+ years focused specifically on Palo Alto NGFWs.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking constructs including AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and Google Cloud Interconnect.
• Strong command of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and IPsec tunneling.
• Proficiency with Terraform, APIs, and CI/CD Pipelines for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Python and Ansible for network automation.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto NGFWs, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Ability to perform L4-level troubleshooting and deep packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark).

Preferred Skills

• PCNSE certification.
• PCNSC or Prisma Cloud certifications.
