Description

You will manage parcel mapping, land records, and spatial data analysis to ensure accurate cadastral datasets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain parcel maps, boundaries, and land records using GIS software.
• Interpret and digitize property deeds, legal descriptions, plats, and survey documents.
• Conduct spatial analysis and geoprocessing for land use planning and property assessments.
• Integrate parcel data with zoning, land use, flood zones, and infrastructure layers.
• Automate workflows to improve data processing and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in parcel mapping, cadastral data management, or GIS analysis.
• Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) and QGIS.
• Experience with parcel fabric, geodatabases, topology, and georeferencing.
• Strong understanding of land surveying principles, legal descriptions, and property records.
• Ability to interpret GPS, LiDAR, remote sensing, and aerial imagery.
• Technical proficiency with Python, SQL, or ModelBuilder for GIS automation.
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Surveying, or Urban Planning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with parcel fabric datasets in ArcGIS Pro.
• Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of tax assessment, zoning regulations, and land development.
