Description

Lead the Pricing, Modeling, and Reserving functions within the Property and Casualty division.

Responsibilities

• Direct the P&C actuarial team, providing mentorship and professional development support.
• Perform complex actuarial analysis to identify key drivers and develop actionable insights for pricing and reserving strategies.
• Oversee rate reviews, rate filings, pricing models, reserve estimations, and valuation reports.
• Monitor profitability, reserves, and claim trends to provide recommendations to underwriting and pricing partners.
• Ensure strict adherence to Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.

Required Skills

• Certified Qualified Actuary from IAI, IFOA, or CAS.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.
• Proven experience leading and managing an actuarial team.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining pricing models using advanced actuarial methods.
• Strong experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders in US insurance markets.
• Ability to critically examine and analyze complex models with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed actuarial documentation and presentations.
• 2 years tenure in current or similar leadership capacity.
