Description

You will lead the migration of applications and workloads from Pivotal Cloud Foundry to Azure Kubernetes Service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop migration strategies including assessment, planning, and execution phases.
  • Evaluate PCF-based applications for compatibility and readiness for Azure AKS.
  • Containerize workloads and optimize them for deployment on Kubernetes.
  • Manage Kubernetes configurations and deploy applications using Helm charts.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and scaling solutions to ensure high availability.

Required Skills

  • 8-10 years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years hands-on in PCF to Azure or AWS migrations.
  • Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience designing, creating, and maintaining Helm charts.
  • Proficiency in Azure services including AKS, Azure Container Registry, and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience managing Azure Subscriptions, Resource Groups, and security.
  • Strong networking knowledge covering Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Routing, DNS, WAF, and NAT.
  • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Kubernetes certifications.
