Pega Admin

You will manage the operational health and administration of the PEGA PRPC application environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational health of the PEGA PRPC application and monitor day-to-day performance.
• Execute patches, including minor and major version releases, after evaluating technical merits and risks.
• Conduct scheduled Disaster Recovery (DR) drills to ensure system resilience.
• Update system administration and knowledge base documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure software designs support long-term maintainability and scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration and Analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in PEGA PRPC Administration (version 8.X).
• Strong experience in RDBMS analysis and tuning, specifically SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Strong JVM experience, specifically for setup and management within Linux and Azure environments.
• Experience with PEGA performance monitoring tools including PAL, PMI, and PDC (Pega Diagnostic Cloud).
• Proficiency with Windows Admin, MQ Linux, and Command line.
• Experience managing Tomcat App Server for web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for source control.
• Deep infrastructure-level troubleshooting skills covering JVMs, nodes, clusters, logs, traces, heap, memory, CPU, and throughput.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PEGA security and certification management/installation.
