Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Pega-based web applications using Java/J2EE and front-end technologies, while leading technical execution for the development team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical designs to create specifications and oversee their implementation.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and document Pega components, including Constellation SDKs and custom modules.
• Manage technical risks, coordinate developer tasks, and ensure adherence to coding standards through code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers, define best practices, and drive process improvements across the team.
• Collaborate with QA to create test plans and work with stakeholders to evaluate feasibility of new solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based Java/J2EE applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, JQuery, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Experience with Pega Platform, including Constellation, Constellation SDKs, and Custom Component development.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented design and methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with source control management, build processes, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Pega CLSA certification.
• Knowledge of P&C (Property & Casualty) concepts and application systems.
