Description

You will design and deliver data integration and business intelligence solutions using the Pentaho BI Platform. You own the full lifecycle of DI/BI applications, from analysis and design to testing and coding. You configure and maintain multiple Pentaho environments, including Kettle, Metadata Editor, Report Designer, and Schema Workbench. You write complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, including joins, triggers, views, and stored procedures, while applying performance tuning techniques. You also develop Windows batch and UNIX shell scripts to support automation and system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure Pentaho BI solutions using Kettle, Metadata Editor, Report Designer, and Schema Workbench.
• Analyze user requirements and design, test, and code DI/BI front-end applications.
• Administer, configure, and maintain multiple Pentaho environments.
• Write complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Implement performance tuning for database queries and report generation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT experience with a focus on Business Intelligence and Data Integration.
• Hands-on development in Pentaho Suite: Kettle, Metadata Editor, Report Designer, Schema Workbench.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Windows batch scripting and UNIX shell scripting.
• Proven ability in performance tuning approaches and techniques.
• Experience in end-to-end delivery of BI solutions based on user requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree in a technical field.
