Description

You will manage and maintain the PeopleSoft environment, ensuring application and database stability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft application servers, web servers, and process schedulers.
• Manage PeopleSoft databases, including creation, configuration, tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Implement patches, updates, and upgrades across the PeopleSoft infrastructure.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine maintenance and administrative tasks.
• Monitor system and database performance to troubleshoot issues and optimize SQL queries.

Required Skills

• Experience installing and configuring PeopleSoft infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Ability to manage database creation, configuration, and tuning.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft application server and web server maintenance.
• Experience with system patching and upgrade implementation.
• Ability to manage database backup and recovery procedures.
• Skills in developing automation scripts for routine administrative tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to collaborate with IT teams to configure and maintain integration points with external systems.
• Configure security settings and permissions to ensure data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
