Description

Manage and support Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, Human Capital Management, and Oracle Business Intelligence environments hosted on Exadata within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, upgrade, and support Oracle databases.
• Perform database performance tuning and security management.
• Manage backup and recovery processes using RMAN.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for off-hours and weekend support.
• Execute shift work during non-business hours for deployment exercises.

Required Skills

• 8+ years managing multiple Oracle Databases on Linux in complex environments.
• 5+ years as an Oracle DBA in large-scale organizations.
• Extensive experience authoring and supporting Linux shell scripts.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Security Architecture and Recovery using RMAN and OEM.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex DBMS problems.
• Experience with multi-tenant container databases and pluggable databases.
• Expertise in designing, modeling, and implementing large database systems.
• Proficiency in authoring PL/SQL and SQL commands and scripts.
• Experience creating performance tuning enhancements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Oracle databases on Exadata platforms or within OCI.
• Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance databases.
