Description

Manage and support Oracle databases within a PeopleSoft environment, ensuring stability, performance, and security across Financials, CRM, or HCM systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases, including version upgrades to 19c and quarterly patching.
• Manage Data Guard instances, executing switchovers, failovers, and gap resolutions.
• Execute database backups, recoveries, and cloning processes for systems exceeding 1 TB.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues by analyzing SQL execution plans.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate database tasks and support systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA supporting PeopleSoft Financials, CRM, or HCM.
• Oracle Certified Master (OCM) certification.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle version 19c.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• 3+ years of experience with Exadata Machine Administration, including configuration and maintenance.
• 12+ years of experience with RMAN, filesystem cloning, and datapump.
• 12+ years of experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and tuning SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Advanced Security (TDE) and Data Guard.
• Proficiency with Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Unix, and Linux scripting.
