Description

You will manage Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, Human Capital Management, and Oracle Business Intelligence databases hosted on Exadata within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, upgrade, and support Oracle databases across complex environments.
• Execute performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security management tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex Database Management System (DBMS) problems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation including off-hours, weekend, and shift work during deployment exercises.
• Design, model, and implement large database systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing multiple Oracle Databases on Linux.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA at comparable scale organizations.
• Extensive experience authoring and supporting Linux shell scripts.
• Proficiency with Oracle Security Architecture and recovery using RMAN and OEM.
• Experience with multi-tenant container databases and pluggable databases.
• Proficiency in authoring PL/SQL and SQL commands and scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, PL/SQL, and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Oracle databases on Exadata platforms or within OCI.
• Experience using Oracle Data Guard for Disaster Recovery.
• Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and/or Finance databases.
