Description

You bridge the gap between accounting processes and technical system implementation for PeopleSoft finance modules, owning the lifecycle from requirement gathering to resolution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Document current state business processes, including automation, exception handling, and issue resolution for internally developed accounting systems.
• Facilitate requirement gathering and documentation from accounting teams to create system design documents.
• Perform business and system analysis tasks such as requirement grooming, process documentation, and hands-on functional testing.
• Troubleshoot complex accounting data sets using data analytics to identify and interpret system impacts.
• Lead conversations with development and accounting teams to propose system modifications and data governance strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business or system analysis within a finance context.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft finance modules.
• Strong SQL Server and Oracle DB skills.
• Experience with Smartview.
• Data analytics experience using SAS, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting processes like intersegment accounting and tax.
