Description

You will lead the design, development, and integration of Maximo and PeopleSoft systems for transit and asset management environments. You own the technical delivery of complex enterprise applications, ensuring robust architecture, security, and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HA/DR strategies for application components, including database, application, and web servers.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Maximo, PeopleSoft, Cognos, PPG, Optram, and GIS systems.
• Configure and customize Maximo 7.6, Asset Configuration Manager, and Anywhere to meet business requirements.
• Analyze business processes, conduct fit-gap analyses, and optimize transit and warehouse management workflows.
• Manage Maximo security models, MIF configurations, and Cron tasks for data exchange and integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Maximo, PeopleSoft, and related ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on database experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, or DB2.
• Knowledge of C++ and object-oriented analysis and design.
• Experience implementing IBM WebSphere on AIX, Linux, or Windows.
• Understanding of asset management frameworks, transit business processes, and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to conduct cost/benefit analyses and business process improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-tiered application architectures and Maximo SOA.
• Familiarity with TRM Rules Manager, Fleetwatch, and InspectTech.
• Background in transportation or transit agency projects.
