Position: PeopleSoft HR Developer
Location: Remote (Candidates from EST Time Zone Only)
Experience Required: 12+ Years

 Note: Federal clearance is mandatory.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Developer with strong expertise in the Benefits module to support a legacy on-premise HCM system running on PeopleTools 8.58.03 / PUM 34. The role involves production support, issue troubleshooting, enhancement development, integrations, and upgrade support activities.

 Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide daily production support for PeopleSoft HCM applications, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and delivering quick fixes

* Work on enhancement requests, minor development tasks, and ongoing application improvements

* Support Benefits Administration and Base Benefits processes including Open Enrollment, Life Events, and eligibility setup/configuration

* Develop and customize PeopleSoft solutions using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and SQR

* Manage and support integrations including XML, flat files, and vendor interfaces

* Participate in PeopleSoft upgrade activities, retrofits, patch implementation, and testing phases including Unit Testing, System Testing, and UAT

* Collaborate with internal teams to maintain application stability and timely delivery of fixes/enhancements

 Required Skills & Experience:

* Minimum 5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM technical development experience

* Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Benefits Administration and Base Benefits modules

* Strong experience with PeopleTools 8.58 and PUM environments

* Hands-on expertise with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces (CI), and SQR

* Strong SQL and Oracle database knowledge

* Experience with Benefits configuration, eligibility rules, and related business processes

* Knowledge of vendor integrations and interface support

 Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with PHIRE, STAT, or other change management tools

* Exposure to benefits vendors such as Aetna, Fidelity, or similar providers

* Experience supporting Open Enrollment for large enterprise environments

 Manager’s Expectations:

The manager is looking for a highly independent and self-motivated consultant who can efficiently manage heavy workloads and backlogs, deliver quick turnaround solutions, and demonstrate a strong production support and problem-solving mindset.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science or related field
