Description

You will lead performance engineering for online applications and mainframe batch processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design performance testing plans and define benchmarks and SLAs with stakeholders.
• Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter to validate system stability.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks, performance degradation, and scalability issues.
• Optimize SQL queries and database interactions, and recommend database tuning strategies.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and improve throughput.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with SQL for complex queries, including SELECT, JOIN, and aggregate functions.
• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner.
• Experience using JMeter for load simulation.
• Experience testing Banking/Finance systems and General Ledger (GL) processes.
• Ability to analyze database performance metrics.
• Experience in application code and batch job optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe batch process optimization.
• Background in financial services performance engineering.
