Description

You will manage system performance and capacity planning within mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply documented problem-solving techniques to resolve technical issues independently.
• Communicate critical information to management, Service Desk, and Operations teams.
• Collaborate across IT teams to build working relationships and influence technical outcomes.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a flexible environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe operating systems.
• Proficiency with JCL, JES2, DFSMS, DFHSM, and DFDSS.
• Hands-on experience with SDSF, DFSORT, TSO, and ISPF/PDF.
• Intermediate skills in UNIX, Linux, or Windows environments.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REXX, COBOL, or CA Technologies (CA-DELIVER, CA-VIEW, SYSVIEW, EASY-TRIEVE, CA1, CA7).
• Knowledge of EOS, Folders, or z/VM.
