You will define enterprise-wide performance engineering standards, architecture, and best practices to ensure scalability and reliability across distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing strategies using automated frameworks.
• Analyze application behavior under varying workloads to identify bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis across application, database, and cloud layers.
• Optimize APIs, microservices, and databases to improve response times, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and drive observability practices using APM tools.
• Mentor engineers on performance principles, lead capacity planning, and define governance processes for performance architecture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, performance engineering, or architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and enterprise application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, Gatling, or Azure Load Testing.
• Proficiency with APM and observability tools: Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Splunk.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing performance strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
