Description

You will conduct quality control tests and analysis to ensure software meets performance standards and monitor production system stability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, script, and execute performance tests to validate application and infrastructure readiness.
• Diagnose, track, and manage performance issues through deep dive data analysis and dashboard monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams during story design to ensure new features are built for performance.
• Condition test data to simulate realistic production scenarios and validate application functionality.
• Provide performance assessments and trend reports regarding error rates, response times, and infrastructure impact.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in performance engineering or related work with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.
• 1 year of experience in software application development or test automation.
• Proficiency in Java, C, C++, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with load testing tools such as Client LoadRunner.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of SQL and automated testing methodologies.
• Exposure to application architecture, capacity planning, and performance best practices.
• Experience with Fiddler, Dynatrace, JMeter, Hammer, or Performance Center.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
