Description

You will diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks within multi-tier, distributed web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive analysis to identify root causes of performance issues.
• Conduct load testing and performance analysis for large-scale, cloud-based systems.
• Manage and optimize connection pooling, load balancing, and traffic routing.
• Implement caching strategies using Elastic Cache and CDN/Edge servers.
• Monitor system health using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience delivering solutions for distributed web applications.
• Proficiency with AWS, Google, or Azure (Route53, NLB, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, AppDynamics, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
• Strong background in Java or C++ and service-oriented architecture.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS, CPU performance, memory utilization, and JVM Garbage Collection.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL database concepts.
• Experience with container-based architecture and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with TLS encryption, security, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of network latency, rate limiting, and max connections.
