You will own performance engineering initiatives to ensure software systems meet defined benchmarks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy performance testing strategies for Java and ReactJS stacks.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks within applications.
• Craft and automate performance test scripts to deliver actionable enhancement insights.
• Implement chaos engineering to fortify system resilience against disruptions.
• Champion the automation of performance testing processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and optimization.
• Proficiency with Java and ReactJS performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience implementing chaos engineering practices (Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, or similar).
• Deep understanding of software and hardware aspects of the SDLC.
• Demonstrated success automating performance testing processes.
• Ability to dissect complex systems and provide strategic performance insights.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
