You will own performance testing, profiling, and optimization for scalable Java-based distributed systems.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
Design and execute performance tests (load, stress, soak, spike, capacity) using Apache JMeter, building reusable test plans and data strategies.
Instrument and analyze end-to-end system performance with Dynatrace, tracing hotspots across services, JVM, databases, caches, and external dependencies.
Engineer for scalability and resiliency by profiling bottlenecks, optimizing code paths, and tuning JVM/GC, threads, DB queries, and connection pools.
Automate performance pipelines by integrating tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) with pass/fail gates based on defined thresholds.
Develop and maintain event-driven microservices using Java EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka, ensuring secure coding and domain-driven design.
Required Skills
6–8+ years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on Java and backend engineering.
Proficiency with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development.
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems with a solid understanding of domain-driven design.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Preferred Skills
Experience with APM tools like Dynatrace for performance analysis.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
