Description

You will own performance validation across the entire application stack.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, script, and configure automated performance tests to validate production readiness for software and infrastructure.
• Diagnose, track, and manage performance issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams during story design to ensure new features meet performance standards.
• Provide summaries and assessments of application performance, tracking trends over time.
• Lead or participate in cross-organizational initiatives driving standardization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proficiency with open-source load testing tools like Apache JMeter.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and profiler tools like Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with container technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
• Understanding of application architecture, capacity planning, and performance best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of mobile app (Android/iOS) and web technology stacks (HTTP, REST, HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience dissecting multi-tiered systems and tracking data flow across the stack.
