Description

Own API performance testing across a distributed ecosystem including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Oracle, and downstream applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies including load, stress, scalability, endurance, and volume tests.
• Develop structured test plans defining user models, transaction profiles, duration, and success criteria.
• Execute tests using standard tooling and analyze results to identify bottlenecks, failure points, and scalability risks.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to drive root-cause analysis and validate remediation fixes.
• Produce executive-ready summaries outlining test scope, results, and recommended next steps for stability and risk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Expertise in testing distributed APIs, specifically Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Oracle environments.
• Proficiency with automation frameworks including Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber.
• Ability to define complex user and transaction models for realistic load simulations.
• Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis of performance bottlenecks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps integration for performance testing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based distributed systems architecture.
