Description

You will own the end-to-end test suite for package repositories, automating infrastructure provisioning and performance analysis on Google Cloud.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write Go-based automation to provision GCP resources (VMs, Service Accounts) and manage repository lifecycles.
• Execute E2E tests against Artifact Registry (remote, virtual, cached/uncached) to measure performance overhead.
• Integrate test results into BigQuery and build performance dashboards in Looker.
• Develop technical documentation for test execution and maintenance.
• Deploy automated code into Google3.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or performance testing.
• Proficiency in Go for test automation and infrastructure logic.
• Strong command of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and gcloud CLI.
• Experience with Docker and Python for environment setup.
• Ability to rapidly learn repository format configurations (Apt, Yum, Go, Ruby).

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Looker.
