Description

You will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across complex application and database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks.
• Tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and database configurations to optimize performance.
• Execute end-to-end performance evaluations using testing and profiling tools.
• Monitor application and database performance within SAP and HANA environments.
• Analyze data and visualize performance metrics to drive optimization strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
• Experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman.
• Experience monitoring applications with Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and in-memory databases.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git for code management.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and Big-O notation.

Preferred Skills

• Performance assessment and optimization of applications built on SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP components including API Management, Integration Suite, Conversational AI, and Data Intelligence.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
