Description

Lead performance testing and troubleshoot production issues in cloud-native environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance tests for distributed applications and cloud platforms.
• Analyze application flows using profiling tools and debug distributed systems with Elastic APM, Jaeger, or Open Tracing.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Java, PowerShell, or Shell to integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in production to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to implement system optimizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with profiling tools including JProfiler and JFR.
• Experience debugging with Elastic APM, Jaeger, and Open Tracing.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
• Experience with search engines like Elastic Search.
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies including Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Performance testing experience within the Banking Domain.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices, application security testing, or supporting security audits.
