Description

You will own performance engineering across application and database tiers, defining metrics, executing tests, and driving optimizations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define performance test objectives and key metrics in collaboration with architects and developers.
• Create, parameterize, and automate LoadRunner scripts to simulate user actions for .NET applications and APIs.
• Configure and provision test environments for IIS, .NET, and SQL Server tiers, implementing necessary monitoring tools.
• Execute load, stress, and soak tests while simultaneously monitoring application servers and SQL Server for bottlenecks.
• Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis across client, .NET, and database layers, and recommend specific optimizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering.
• Expertise in Oracle LoadRunner scripting and execution.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server optimization, including query tuning, execution plans, and indexing.
• Proficiency with .NET Core application performance profiling and tuning.
• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API performance testing workflows.
• Experience with Windows performance monitoring tools (e.g., PerfMon).
• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure concepts.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio for debugging and profiling.
