Description

You will own the end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle, from defining non-functional requirements to identifying system bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Define performance testing objectives, strategies, and workload models based on production load patterns.
• Develop maintainable test scripts for API and UI performance testing.
• Execute capacity, scalability, stability, and stress tests across multiple product teams.
• Analyze test results and publish pragmatic metrics to facilitate troubleshooting with infrastructure owners.
• Design and develop performance testing infrastructure, including simulators and analysis tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience specifically with BlazeMeter.
• Expertise in writing and executing test scripts using BlazeMeter, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Deep understanding of HTTP and web protocols to script tests at the protocol level.
• Proficiency in API and UI performance testing using JMeter, BlazeMeter, and Grafana.
• Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
• Ability to analyze performance logs using ELK or Splunk.
• Strong data mining and analysis skills using SQL.
• Knowledge of performance testing strategies for both On-prem and AWS cloud environments.
• Proven ability to perform CPU and memory bottleneck analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or messaging performance testing.
• Experience integrating BlazeMeter with Selenium or other API test automation scripts.
