Description

You will own the end-to-end performance evaluation and optimization of complex applications and databases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-depth root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Tune SQL queries and stored procedures to optimize database performance.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like LoadRunner Enterprise, JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Monitor application performance using tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
• Analyze data and visualize results to drive performance improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering.
• Strong expertise in database performance tuning and engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
• Skilled in using profiling tools to isolate system bottlenecks.
• Practical experience with SQL and relational or in-memory databases.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and Big-O notation.
• Experience with code management using Git.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in SAP HANA performance assessment and optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP components including API Management, Integration Suite, and Data Intelligence.
• Experience with SAP HANA DB cockpit and SAP BTP cockpit.
