Description

You will own performance engineering and database tuning within SAP and similar packaged environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Tune SQL queries and stored procedures to optimize database performance.
• Execute end-to-end performance evaluations using testing and profiling tools.
• Monitor application and database performance across service-oriented architectures and RESTful APIs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance engineering.
• Strong expertise in database performance tuning and engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Abap, Java, or C++.
• Experience with Loadrunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Hands-on experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
• Deep knowledge of SQL query optimization and stored procedure tuning.
• Experience working with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Performance assessment and optimization of complex applications on SAP HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP components including API Management, Integration Suite, and Data Intelligence.
