Description

You will design and execute performance engineering strategies across cloud and on-premise n-tiered environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute load, soak, and scalability tests to validate system stability.
• Analyze application architecture and non-functional requirements to identify production workloads.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for J2EE, .NET, and LAMP stacks.
• Build observability dashboards and establish SLAs, logging, and tracing standards.
• Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Cloudbees or GitHub.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Expertise with performance tools including NeoLoad, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Advanced knowledge of web protocols: HTTP, TCP, Websockets, REST, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in writing monitoring and data extraction tools using Java, Python, or Unix Shell.
• Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring stacks: Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, or Splunk.
• Experience running performance tests on AWS or Azure platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with chaos engineering tools like Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Azure Chaos Studio.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and observability.
