Description

You will lead performance engineering and testing efforts across cloud and on-premise n-tiered environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute load, soak, and scalability tests to validate system stability.
• Analyze application architecture and non-functional requirements to identify production workloads.
• Build monitoring and data extraction tools using Java, Python, or Unix Shell.
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for J2EE, .NET, and LAMP stacks.
• Integrate automated performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Cloudbees or GitHub.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Proficiency with NeoLoad, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, TCP, WebSockets, REST, and GraphQL protocols.
• Experience with APM tools including Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, or Splunk.
• Ability to run performance tests on AWS or Azure platforms.
• Experience monitoring queues with AnyPoint or MQ Explorer.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Unix Shell.
• Knowledge of J2EE, .NET, or LAMP architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with chaos engineering tools like Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Azure Chaos Studio.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
