Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a performance engineering team, setting standards for engineering excellence and governance.
• Define and execute the performance engineering strategy and roadmap, including reusable frameworks and self-service capabilities.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with automated validation, benchmarking, and regression detection.
• Drive end-to-end customer journey performance testing across APIs, microservices, and digital channels.
• Partner with engineering, platform, architecture, and SRE teams to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks and support capacity planning.

Skills Required:

• 10+ years of experience in performance engineering, quality engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related fields; 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• DevOps experience with automation-first engineering practices.
• Test automation framework expertise for building reusable performance testing frameworks and tools.
• AWS experience delivering performance engineering solutions in cloud environments.
• Performance engineering expertise across scalability, resilience, and performance validation.

Good to Have:

• Team management experience.

Education: Relevant degree (or equivalent practical experience)
