Description

You will own performance testing strategies and execution for critical systems in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance test strategies, defining objectives, scope, scenarios, and success criteria.
• Design and build performance test scripts to simulate realistic user loads.
• Monitor system behavior using APM and monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks in code, databases, or infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical workload models.
• Provide actionable recommendations to resolve performance issues and support CI/CD integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in performance testing, load testing, or performance engineering.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or NeoLoad.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience with metrics collection and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
• Strong SQL experience for database performance testing and query optimization.
• Understanding of application architecture including web, microservices, and APIs.
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and resource utilization (CPU, memory, I/O).
