Description

You will own the performance testing strategy and execution for complex web and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance test strategies, including scope, scenarios, success criteria, and workload models based on production metrics.
• Design and build performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, or NeoLoad.
• Monitor system behavior during tests using APM and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
• Analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks in application code, database queries, network latency, or infrastructure.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to resolve performance issues and support CI/CD integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in performance testing, load testing, or performance engineering.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools including JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, and NeoLoad.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience with metrics collection and monitoring tools (APM solutions, logging platforms, dashboards).
• Strong SQL experience for database performance testing and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, including web, microservices, and APIs.
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and resource utilization (CPU, memory, I/O).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and integrating automated performance tests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
