Description

Drive post-silicon characterization and optimization for Client Computing products to maximize performance and minimize power consumption.

Responsibilities

• Execute performance, power, and perf/watt characterization and optimization plans.
• Analyze interactions between power management features and optimize configurations.
• Drive continuous improvement for post-silicon activities by maintaining automation tools, benchmarks, and processes.
• Support prototyping experiments to implement new features impacting performance and power.
• Debug and troubleshoot system-level issues within test environments and platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in power and performance engineering.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with data analysis tools including PowerBi, Excel, Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, or R Programming.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, Azure, Snowflake, or PyTorch.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Systems Engineering or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of computer organization/architecture, digital/analog electronics, and power/thermal management.
• Experience with data acquisition units (DAQ) and debug/trace tools.
