Description

You will own the execution and optimization of application performance testing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance test strategies using JMeter tailored to application needs.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize performance test scripts for web and API applications.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to validate system behavior.
• Analyze test results, pinpoint bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
• Strong expertise with JMeter for scripting and execution.
• Proven ability to conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Solid understanding of web protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, REST, and SOAP.
• Experience analyzing system metrics and diagnosing performance issues.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
• Ability to collaborate with Development, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
