Description

You will own the strategy, design, and execution of application performance testing across the software lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance testing strategies aligned with business needs and define testing objectives and SLAs.
• Design, create, and maintain performance test scripts and automate solutions for CI/CD integration.
• Execute load, stress, and scalability tests across web, API, and mobile platforms while monitoring key system metrics.
• Analyze test results to pinpoint performance bottlenecks, generating detailed reports and recommending optimizations.
• Collaborate with development, DBA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and improve overall system health.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner (or HP ALM Performance Center), Gatling, or NeoLoad.
• Strong scripting ability in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Shell, or Groovy.
• Experience utilizing APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Splunk).
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL performance tuning, and database monitoring (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, specifically integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of system architecture across web, application, database, and network layers.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HP ALM Performance Center.
