Description

You will design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, and endurance tests to optimize application responsiveness, throughput, and resource usage.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance testing across application, microservices, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and apply engineering principles to optimize system scalability and latency.
• Build and maintain reusable performance test scripts, frameworks, and automation utilities using Java or C++.
• Analyze deep-dive metrics using logs, traces, and monitoring tools to provide tuning recommendations.
• Prepare detailed performance reports with insights and actionable optimization strategies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience across the full performance testing lifecycle (planning, scripting, execution, analysis, optimization).
• Proficiency in Java OR C++ for script customization, framework building, and debugging.
• Deep knowledge of CPU, memory, garbage collection, threading, asynchronous calls, caching, and database performance.
• Strong understanding of microservices-based systems, API performance, distributed tracing, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience leveraging logs, metrics, and tracing tools for root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of banking workflows, transaction systems, and regulatory non-functional expectations.
