Description

Design and lead performance testing strategies for systems under load, stress, and peak conditions. Create, configure, and execute complex test scripts in JMeter to simulate real-world usage patterns. Optimize and troubleshoot scripts to ensure accurate performance assessments. Use Dynatrace for continuous monitoring of key metrics like response time and throughput, diagnosing issues in real-time. Integrate performance testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to identify issues early. Perform capacity planning analysis to determine optimal infrastructure requirements for projected workloads and recommend scaling strategies for Kubernetes environments.

• Utilize Dynatrace for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend Kubernetes scaling strategies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of experience in applications and systems performance testing, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Five years of experience in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for complex script creation.
• Proficiency with Dynatrace or similar APM tools for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Experience managing and optimizing performance in Kubernetes environments, including autoscaling and resource tuning.
• Knowledge of versioning and CI/CD tools, specifically Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Advanced knowledge of DB/SQL and Linux.
• Ability to interpret performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization areas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to resolve complex problems using independent judgment.
