You design and lead performance testing strategies to validate system behavior under load and stress, aligning these efforts with business goals and project requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and execute complex test scripts in JMeter to simulate real-world usage scenarios and workload patterns.
• Optimize and troubleshoot scripts to ensure accurate and reliable performance assessments.
• Utilize Dynatrace for continuous performance monitoring, tracking key metrics like response time and throughput to diagnose issues in real-time.
• Integrate performance testing and monitoring tools within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to identify issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Perform capacity planning analysis to determine infrastructure requirements and recommend scaling strategies for Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in applications and systems performance testing, monitoring, and evaluation.
• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for creating complex test scripts and scenarios.
• Proficiency with Dynatrace or similar APM tools for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
• Experience managing and optimizing performance in Kubernetes environments, including autoscaling and tuning for cluster resource efficiency.
• Knowledge of versioning and CI/CD integration tools, specifically Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Advanced knowledge of DB/SQL and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
