Description

Design and lead performance testing strategies, creating complex scripts and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability under load.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance testing strategies aligned with business requirements, simulating real-world usage patterns.
• Create, configure, and optimize complex JMeter test scripts for accurate load and stress assessments.
• Utilize Dynatrace for continuous monitoring, real-time diagnostics, and root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to identify issues early in the development cycle.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend Kubernetes scaling strategies to optimize infrastructure for projected workloads.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in applications and systems performance testing, monitoring, and evaluation.
• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter for complex script creation and execution.
• Proficiency with Dynatrace or similar APM tools for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Experience managing and optimizing performance in Kubernetes environments, including autoscaling and resource tuning.
• Knowledge of versioning and CI/CD tools, specifically Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Advanced knowledge of DB/SQL and Linux.
• Ability to interpret performance data to identify trends and optimization areas.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to resolve complex problems using independent judgment.
